Alexandria has a lot to see, eat and buy – fit as much of it as possible on this daily tour from Cairo. Your daily trip to Alexandria will start with a pick-up from your accommodation in a comfortable car. The first stop on this full day tour will be to visit the Library of Alexandria, the largest library in the world. It now houses 8 million books. You can visit its open yard to see statues of Alexander the Great and Ptolemy the First. The car will then take you to Saint Mark’s Church, the oldest church in Africa. Then, move to the old city center of Alexandria where you can walk through the traditional souks where everything and anything is sold. Enjoy downtown Baroque designs and property in Italian and French style. If you choose, have lunch! Take a break at the café or hookah café before continuing your tour. Continue your adventure in Alexandria in the afternoon with a scenic excursion program. See the oldest market area in town which contains both the women’s markets and the most amazing gold market where everyone buys their wedding jewelry. See the most beautiful and largest mosque in the city, the Abu Al Abbas Mosque, and the old amusement gallery located right outside where children are still playing. Opposite the corniche and the old port where you can see fishing boats and traditional fishermen making nets. From here, walk 5 minutes to see Quaitbay Castle. See the memorial of the Unknown Soldier and the beautiful coast on the way to the Montazah Gardens and Palace and the camera opportunity. To finally take pictures, cross the modern Stanley Bridge before returning to your hotel.
Alexandria is a wonderful city, the library has many scientific books, and the park is very beautiful. I recommend going on this trip
